  1. Mankind should be held responsible for climate change. This is due to mankind engaging in activities that contribute to climate change such as deforestation and industrialisation in developing countries which releases large amounts of carbon dioxide. In addition, insufficient effort was made to reduce the rate of climate change.

  2. Climate change caused by human activities has resulted the state of the Earth’s health to evolve into an important universal issue. We are the main reason that climate change is happening at a rapid pace. We are pushing the Earth to its limits, sometimes getting undesirable consequences such as a change in weather condition that affect crop productions, to happen. Through our activities like deforestation for instance, we emit greenhouse gases that warm the Earth. Therefore, we are to blame ourselves for climate change as we are not taking any action to reduce the impact.

  3. Climate Change is said to cause the deaths of 100million people by the year of 2030, if the Mankind fails to act accordingly, taken from the Huffington Post. Mankind should be blamed for climate change. This is due to mankind exercising in activities such as deforestation and technological improvement, in which releases high levels of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, causing climate change. Therefore, mankind should take immediate action against climate change, due to the insufficient effort put in, to slow down climate change.

  4. The activity of Man is to be blamed for rising climate changes in the World and the effects it causes . Climate change is caused mainly through greenhouse gases building up in the atmosphere and trapping heat from the sun, hence increasing the overall temperature of the Earth’s surface. Starting from 1950, the Man-made carbon dioxide emission per year rose from 2000 million tons to to almost 6000 in just 4 years. The concentration of carbon dioxide in the continues to increase and climate temperature of Earth shows no sign of decreasing. Causes of these increase in carbon emissions include the widespread use of incinerators to burn materials which are not biodegradable, Man’s increasing reliance on private transport and also the demand for natural resources like wood so trees cannot balance out the carbon dioxide in the air.

  5. Global warming is increase of earth’s temperature leading to climate change due to greenhouse effect. When greenhouse gases are produced, heat is trapped in the earth’s atmosphere. There has been many evidences and reports to prove that mankind is the main cause of climate change. Man has been guilty of clearing more and more plots of lands for their personal needs. Man’s activities like industrialisation and inventions like plastic are also to be blamed. Mankind is to be blamed for climate change.

  6. Climate change is a phenomena that is as simple as a sunny day becoming rainy or something more complicated like extreme weather causing different natural disasters such as cyclones and tornadoes. Mankind should not be blamed for doing something he did not start. Some factors that show that mankind should not be blamed for climate change are advancement in technologies that mankind has made as well as the development of mankind's natural instincts for survival.

  8. The activities of man are to be blamed for the rising climate changes in the world and the consequences that follow after. As every little thing that men do that affect the environment in any way, be it driving a car to communicating with other people, it produces more greenhouse gases that will be trapped in the Earth's atmosphere. This will in turn cause the rise of the average temperature of the Earth causing climate change to happen at a faster rate.

  9. Man is to be blamed for causing climate change due to our activities. Activities such as deforestation, burning of non-biodegradable objects, advancements in technology etc. , have resulted in the increase of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere and thus effectively causing the increase of our Earth's temperature, leading to climate change. If we continue such activities, we will be increasing the Earth's temperature constantly and after some time Earth may become too hot for humans to live. Thus, we need to take action to prevent climate change from occurring before it is too late.

  10. The climate has changed due to the activities caused by man. Such activities include combustion of waste materials, deforestation, a huge release of carbon dioxide and monoxide. These activities have caused us to leave behind a huge carbon footprint. With all these greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, the Earth's temperature is rising drastically such that there are random wildfires in the forest, heat-waves and other heat related consequences by the environment. Therefore, action has to be taken to reduce the effects and prevent climate change from happening.

  11. Climate change is one of the biggest phenomena about earth and there are also many discussions and debates over what causes climate change. Although it is very highly believed that climate change is caused due to man's activities, there are also other possibilities as well. A recent study in mid-2010 tells us that the earth undergoes a cycle, in which it would have the peak of hot temperature environment and then passing into a new cycle through ice age. It is possible that the earth is undergoing the heat period of the cycle, thus causing climate change. In addition, no matter what, our survival instincts and needs for developments is always prioritized as part of our human nature. Therefore, man should not be blamed for climate change.

  12. With the constant rise of temperature and sea level, numerous researchers states that man should be blamed for the climate change. Man or man kind have been inhabiting on this planet for more than millions of years from one generation to another, so, are man really the source of climate change? I opine that Man are the source of climate change as man are not willing to use eco-friendly technologies, reduce the usage of non-biodegradable products and reduce carbon emission.

  13. The Earth has, and is undergoing a process known as climate change due to the activities caused by mankind. Such activities include combustion of waste materials, deforestation, a huge release of carbon dioxide and monoxide through buildings such as coal-burning power stations and automobiles. These activities have caused us to leave behind a huge carbon footprint. Because of this the Earth's temperature is rising drastically and as such wildfires can start in the forest, temperatures rise and sea levels rise to increase chances of flooding. Therefore, action has to be taken to reduce the negative effects and slow the process of climate change to a stop.

  15. Tourists' paradise Maldives is the only country which is only 4 feet above sea level. This country is at high risk of going underwater in less than a hundred years as in the last century, the sea level has risen 8 inches. Scientists fear that in another hundred years, the sea level will rise up to 23 inches because of the alarming changes in global warming. Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over periods ranging from decades to millions of years. Climate Change is caused by many various factors such as tectonic activity and ocean circulation and human activities. These human activities are specifically activities like deforestation, use of factories for man made items which release a lot of carbon to the atmosphere for the growing population’s needs. In my opinion, man is to be blamed for climate change due to causing the excessive clearance of trees and excessive release of carbon and other harmful gases to the atmosphere.

  16. The world has changed drastically in the last few decades. One example is the climate change.
Climate change is caused by many factors, causing a rise in Earth's temperatures, leading to many negative consequences that affect all of earth’s inhabitants. However, mankind should not be responsible for the global rise of temperatures. Climate change is caused mainly by natural processes that are not within the control of mankind. In addition, mankind has also taken various measures to reduce the rate of climate change. Hence, mankind should not be held responsible for climate change.

  17. Climate change is a shift in weather conditions identified mainly by changes in temperature. It is now an important and serious environmental problem which would result in dire consequences if actions are not taken against it. Changes in climate occur due to heat being trapped on earth. Greenhouse gases emitted during Man’s activities trap heat on earth, increasing global temperatures. I am of the opinion that mankind is responsible for changes in climate due to our activities such as industrialization, deforestation and transportation.

  18. 2012 was the year with record ice melt, with arctic ice only covering parts of the arctic ocean. Soon enough, the year when ice-free summers in the arctic will come. Climate change has been affecting the world in many ways, causing many animals to go endangered and even extinct. Human activities like industries, deforestation, and burning fossil fuels, contributed to the different aspects of climate change. In my opinion, man should be blamed for climate change.

  19. Climate change is a pressing issue present in the world right now. Climate change is the process whereby there is a constant rise in temperature. I opine that man should be blamed for climate change, this is because man is the dominating species in the world right now and we are the ones who are contributing hugely towards climate change. Activities such as deforestation, burning of fossil fuels and combustion of our trash is creating huge amounts of carbon dioxide which is a greenhouse gas. This therefore leads to an increase in temperature as greenhouse gasses build up. Hence, man should be blamed for climate change.
